Bayou is an exciting combination of genetics that we are excited to incorporate into our herd. His dam, Louisiana, is breathtaking. We both got to see her in person when we went to pick up Bayou and Reign at Blissberry and at the National Show in Lousiville, KY. She is a beauty! She is a very long-bodied doe, level over the topline and we love her overall width. Her mammary system is spectacular with smooth fore udder attachment and great rear udder attachment. At the 2021 ADGA National Show, in a very competitive 3-year-old class, she went 2nd place/2nd udder! We were stoked! But then we almost fell out of our chairs when Sara told us that Louisiana appraised EX93! What a feat! We are on ecstatic that we have a son out of her!

Bayou's sire is a result of the exciting cross of Rock Hard and Jamaican Me Shine, which has resulted in does such as SGCH Blissberry Rain or Shine (who also appraised EX93 in 2021!) and Blissberry Rise & Shine EX92. This buckling has a stacked pedigree and we are very anxious to see his future kids.

Bayou's littermate sister, Sweet Home Alabama, freshened with an absolutely stunning mammary system. She herself is an eye catching young doe and we love watching her mature. She was the 2022 ADGA National Show 4th place Milking Yearling!
